Clay plaster is an eco-friendly alternative to conventional plaster. Promotes better indoor air quality and a healthier living environment due to its non-toxicity. Allowing walls to breathe, regulating moisture and preventing mold or mildew, as well as offering thermal insulation properties. With a natural and organic look, clay adds warmth, texture, and character to any room. It can be customised with various textures, colours, and finishes. Clay is softer than some other materials and, therefore not ideal for high-traffic areas.
Clay is suitable for indoor use, ideal for areas with occasional high humidity, but not recommended for wet areas. It is not suitable for direct application on wood or metal.
Being natural and toxin-free, clay boasts a 100% natural composition, resulting in minimal environmental impact. Its breathable nature helps regulate humidity levels and enhance air quality. Moreover, clay is effective in reducing echoing, therefore improving sound quality, and offers a matte finish.
Clay is less durable and impact resistant compared to other finishes.
Use a soft brush or damp sponge to gently wipe the affected area. Avoid using harsh cleaning agents, as they may damage the clay surface.
